PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix switching type touch panel.SOLUTION: The matrix switching type touch panel includes touch pads disposed in a visible area on a substrate in a dot matrix format and signal lines disposed between the touch pads and connecting the touch pads and touch driving circuits. The matrix switching type touch panel comprises: unit electrodes made of a transparent electrode material and disposed within the visible area on the substrate; touch pad areas set in areas corresponding to the respective touch pads; signal line areas set in areas corresponding to the respective signal lines; and bridges made of a transparent electrode material and electrically connecting the plurality of unit electrodes disposed in the touch pad areas and the signal line areas to constitute the touch pads and the signal lines. The unit electrodes are arranged in a zigzag format with respect to a first axis parallel to the signal lines.
