<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous lining roll preventing a plate-like object from being deviated right or left when the plate-like object is passed through between a pair of fibrous lining rolls.SOLUTION: This fibrous lining roll is comprised of a roll shaft 3 and a fibrous lining 4 fitted externally onto the roll shaft 3. A surface of the fibrous lining 4 is made smooth by cutting and grinding. Constituent fiber 1 at the surface of the fibrous lining 4 is inclined only to a direction of one roll shaft 3. For example, it is inclined only to a left direction of the roll shaft 3. Further, the constituent fiber 1 is not substantially inclined to a circumferential direction. In a method for using the fibrous lining roll, the fibrous lining roll inclined to only left direction of the roll shaft 3 is arranged at an upper side and the fibrous lining roll inclined to only right direction of the roll shaft 3 is arranged at a lower side and these inclined fibrous lining rolls are used as a pair. A plate-like object is passed through between the pair of fibrous lining rolls and is thereby cleaned.</p> |
