PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a printing plate, by which an image pattern to be printed onto a print object can be formed in a printing plate made of a photosensitive resin by laser engraving without inducing cracks or chips.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a sleeve printing plate is provided: the sleeve printing plate comprises a cylindrical sleeve body and a printing plate made of a photosensitive resin disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the sleeve body, where an image pattern to be printed on a print object can be formed by laser processing; and the sleeve printing plate is mounted and used on a cylinder of a printing apparatus. The method includes the steps of: mounting the printing plate on the cylindrical sleeve body; washing and cooling the printing plate; and heat-treating the printing plate as mounted on the sleeve body at a predetermined temperature. |
