PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the designation of a copy destination volume in the case of executing the copy of a volume in a storage device.SOLUTION: A storage management device 22 includes: a reception part 221 for receiving a copy command to instruct the copy of the data of a copy source volume among a plurality of volumes allocated to a storage device to another volume; a determination part 223 for acquiring information related to the constitution of the copy source volume designated in the copy command from the storage device, and for determining a copy destination volume on the basis of the acquired information related to the constitution of the copy source volume, and for instructing the allocation of the copy destination volume; and a copy instruction part 224 for instructing the copy of the data of the copy source volume to the allocated copy destination volume. |
