<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication light detector for a multimode optical fiber capable of detecting presence or absence of communication light per mode.SOLUTION: A communication light detector for a multimode optical fiber 100 includes: an optical waveguide for optical connection 11 made up of multimode optical fibers; a light take-out section 14 for taking out part of communication light 12 transmitted by the optical waveguide for optical connection 11 as leakage light 13; an optical intensity measuring unit 15 for measuring optical intensity of the leakage light 13 taken out by the light take-out section 14; and a light detecting unit 16 for detecting presence or absence of communication light per mode on the basis of the optical intensity measured by the optical intensity measuring unit 15.</p> |
