PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily post-fitting a head-up display with which it is possible to display information from a navigation device previously installed in a vehicle directly without performing information conversion processing.SOLUTION: A portable device 4 acquires the route guide speech of a navigation device 3, generates a guide image on the basis of a recognition result of guide speech, transmits the guide image to a display device 5, and the display device 5 displays the guide image on a head-up display 55. Since the guide image of the navigation device 3 can be displayed on the head-up display 55 even though the navigation device 3 and the display device 5 are not connected to each other, the display device 5 equipped with the head-up display 55 can be easily post-fitted to a vehicle 2 in which the navigation device 3 is previously installed.
