The present disclosure relates to an information display method and device, which belong to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: receiving an information display request from a terminal, wherein the information display request at least carries a target server identifier and designated information; processing the designated information to obtain rich text information of the designated information; and sending a rich text display request to a target server, wherein the rich text display request at least carries the rich text information, so that the target server provides the rich text information. The present invention processes designated information by means of a processing server to obtain rich text information of designated information, thus avoiding the phenomenon that a machine is stuck or crashed because a terminal processes the designated information, and saving resources of the terminal, and because the terminal sends the designated information to the processing server without sending the rich text information to the processing server, data traffic consumed by the terminal is reduced. |
