PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which has excellent usability and is capable of demonstrating its intrinsic washing performance through provision of a tableware basket in which the kind and orientation of each item of the tableware, which can be placed in the tableware basket, can be intuitively recognized, and in which when different kinds of tableware are arranged in the same area, the tableware can be stably placed to increase the setting performance of the tableware.SOLUTION: A dishwasher comprises: an enclosure 1, a washing tank 2 arranged within the enclosure 1; and a tableware basket 23 arranged within the washing tank 2 for receiving tableware 9. The tableware basket 23 has setting sections 29 which are divided according to the kinds of the tableware 9. The setting sections 29 include support portions 32 for supporting the tableware from underside, and ring-shaped ribs 35 serving as guide-shaped portions which imitate a section or an outline of the tableware 9. A support portion plane W1 including the support portions 32 on one plane, and a guide-shaped portion plane W2 including the guide-shaped portions on another plane are configured at different positions. |
