<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the width of a non-light-emitting region from widening in an organic EL element.SOLUTION: An auxiliary electrode 124 is formed on a part of a first electrode 120 of a light-emitting unit 104. An opening 122 is formed in the first electrode 120. A first insulating layer 174 is located on the auxiliary electrode 124. A second insulating layer 176 is located on the opening 122 of the first electrode 120. A light-emitting unit 104 includes a light-emitting element 102, a first non-light-emitting region 106, and a second non-light-emitting region 108. The first non-light-emitting region 106 overlaps the first insulating layer 174. The second non-light-emitting region 108 overlaps the second insulating layer 176. The light-emitting element 102 is provided between the first non-light-emitting region 106 and the second non-light-emitting region 108. The first insulating layer 174 includes a salient 175 in the position in which it overlaps the auxiliary electrode 124. The second insulating layer 176 includes a recess 177 in the position in which it overlaps the opening 122.</p> |
