<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face matching device, face matching method and program that generate three-dimensional face shape data using texture information to thereby enable improvement in matching accuracy between a person of registered two-dimensional face image data and a matching object person to be photographed.SOLUTION: A face matching device comprises: a reference three-dimensional face shape generation unit that generates reference three-dimensional face shape data from preliminarily registered registration two-dimensional face image data using at least texture information; a 2.5-dimensional face shape measurement unit that measures 2.5-dimensional face shape data on the basis of a face image of a photographed matching object person; a matching three-dimensional face shape generation unit that generates matching three-dimensional face shape data from the 2.5-dimensional face shape data using the at least texture information; and a matching unit that matches the reference three-dimensional face shape data to the matching three-dimensional face shape data to determine whether the matching object person is the same person as a person of the registration two-dimensional face image data.</p> |
