PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular transmission capable of restricting occurrence of irregular sound when a rotary gear is idle-running.SOLUTION: A vehicular transmission 1 comprises an input shaft 2 and an input side five-speed gear 15 installed at the input shaft 2 in a relatively rotatable manner. An axial one end surface 15a of the input side five-speed gear 15 is arranged to be adjacent to a step surface 2d between a large-diameter part 2a and a small-diameter part 2b at the input shaft 2. A relief part 72 recessed toward a radial inside part is formed at a root part 70 adjacent to a step surface 2d at an outer circumferential surface of the input shaft 2. A corner part 74 at one end on a side of the step surface in an inner circumferential surface of the input side five-speed gear 15 is formed with a chamfer part 76. An axial distance (b) ranging from one end of the input side five-speed gear 15 to a terminal end 72a of the chamfer part 76 is set to be larger than an axial distance (a) ranging from the step surface 2d to the terminal end 72a of the relief part 72. |
