PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently perform power supply from a storage battery while mitigating processing operation of a management apparatus (BEMS), in an energy management system capable of reducing frequency for limiting demand power by power supply from a storage battery.SOLUTION: A BEMS 10 predicts power demand (demand) in a facility to be a management target; and sets limitation periods in which power consumption in loads 22, 24, 20, ... is to be limited, while setting a forced discharge period in which forced discharge from a storage battery 38 to a load is performed in a period having a high electric charge. The BEMS 10 limits power consumption in each load and makes the storage battery 38 perform forced discharge, according to the set limitation periods and the forced discharge period. One of the loads is a supply and demand management apparatus 20 that limits power consumption in a subordinate load according to an instruction from the BEMS 10 and makes discharge from the storage battery 38 to the load be performed. |
