<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of improving an energy efficiency and easily performing its maintenance work by elongating a stroke length of a piston at an explosion stroke than that of a compression stroke.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a cylinder 2, a piston 2a, a crank member 4 connected to the piston 2a through a connecting rod 3 and a guide part 9 fixed to the crank member 4. The guide part 9 comprises a guide gear 14, a group of gears 15 and a group of gears 18 that are all stored in a guide case 12 communicated with a crank case 10. The group of gears 15 comprise a planetary gear 16 and a cylindrical gear 17 having inner teeth 17a engaged with the planetary gear 16 at its inner circumferential surface and having outer teeth 17b formed to protrude at its outer circumferential surface. The guide gear 14 is connected to the outer teeth 17b through the group of gears 18 and rotated around the center of an output shaft 19.</p> |
