<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer system, a data transfer method, a data transfer device and a program capable of improving stability of data transfer on a network.SOLUTION: The data transfer system comprises: a data transfer device that transfers data to terminal devices; and a plurality of terminal devices that repeatedly perform data transmission requests to the data transfer device until acquisition of entire data is completed. The data transfer system also includes: terminal information management means for managing information relevant to the amount of transmitted data in each of the plurality of terminal devices; and control means for preferentially instructing terminal devices with much transmitted data to delay their data transmission requests when the number of terminal devices which have not completed the acquisition of the entire data is greater than a predetermined number, based on the information relevant to the amount of transmitted data in each of the plurality of terminal devices, so that the number of the terminals is not greater than the predetermined number.</p> |
