<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel connection union fitting structure for the outdoor unit of a multi-type air conditioner.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a plurality of connection unions to which respective refrigerant pipings of a plurality of indoor units are connected and a connection base 10 which fixes those connection unions. A liquid pipe connection union 2L and a gas pipe connection union 2G each have a diagonal part at a part thereof. The connection base 10 comprises an immovable part 11 and a movable part 12 which is variable in mutual interval with the immovable part. The immovable part 11 has a V notch formed to receive one corner part of a diagonal part of the liquid pipe connection union 2L and one corner part of a diagonal part of the gas pipe connection union 2G, and the immovable part 12 has a V notch formed to receive the other corner part of the diagonal part of the liquid pipe connection union 2L and the other corner part of the diagonal part of the gas pipe connection union 2G.</p> |
