<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor capable of securing mounting strength while suppressing occurrence of structural defects in an element body.SOLUTION: A dummy inner electrode 15 is positioned in a layer the same as the layer in which inner electrodes 11 and 13 are provided away from the inner electrodes 11 and 13 while having an end exposed to a first side surface 1e of an element body. A dummy outer electrode 7 is arranged on the first side surface 1e away from a plurality of outer electrodes and connected to the dummy inner electrode 15. A ridge portion 2a positioned between the first side surface 1e and a first principal surface 1a and a ridge portion 2a positioned between the first side surface 1e and a second principal surface 1b are rounded so as to be curved. Edges of the dummy outer electrode 7 in an opposite direction of the first and second principal surfaces 1a and 1b are separated from the ridge portions 2a, respectively.</p> |
