[Class 26] A bidet 3 is hinged to the lower part of a standard 2 supporting a wash-basin 1 by a hinge joint 4, the pivot pin of which rests in open bearings 5, and is provided at its face end with a swinging foot 6 which drops down and supports the bidet when it is moved into its operative position. Water is supplied to the bidet through holes 7 in a circular channel in its upper part, the end of a fixed supply pipe 8 being provided with a rubber joint 9 against which is pressed a connecting part 11 on the bidet. A sloping bottom 12 within the stand 2 directs the waste water from the bidet when the latter is swung into the vertical position to an outlet 13.
