PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a heat-up time of a fixing belt and securely fix toner images on recording media.SOLUTION: A fixing device 18 of the present invention includes a fixing belt 22 that is rotatably provided, a pressure member 23 that is in pressure contact with the fixing belt 22 to form a fixing nip 90 and is rotatably provided, a heating member 24 that is arranged to hold the fixing belt 22 with the pressure member 23 and is rotatably provided, a pressing member 26 that is arranged to hold the fixing belt 22 with the pressure member 23 to press the fixing belt 22 toward the pressure member 23, and a heat source 27 that is arranged on the inside in the radial direction of the fixing belt 22 and on the outside in the radial direction of the heating member 24. Radiation heat emitted from the heat source 27 directly reaches the fixing belt 22, heating member 24, and pressing member 26. |
