PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneader in which powder and liquid can be kneaded stably and continuously, and kneading conditions can be changed easily.SOLUTION: A kneader 1 includes a preliminary kneader 4 for producing pre-slurry by agitating power and liquid charged, and carrying the powder while wetting to the liquid, and a main kneader 5 for producing slurry by passing the pre-slurry supplied from the preliminary kneader 4 to an adjustable gap G between tapered surfaces rotating while facing each other, and dispersing the powder in the pre-slurry. Since the powder is dispersed into the liquid after being adapted thereto, damage on the powder can be suppressed. Furthermore, since the carried powder is dispersed in the pre-slurry while carrying the powder and liquid and producing the pre-slurry, continuous kneading is possible. Since the main kneading conditions can be changed by simply adjusting the gap G between the outer peripheral surface of a rotor 52 and the inner peripheral surface of a housing container 53, the main kneading conditions changing work is facilitated. |
