PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel fixing frame which is safe and strong in panel fixing force and held for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A display panel fixing frame is configured to install pressing covers 8a, 8b of an outward chevron-shaped cross-section covering the outer peripheral side and the front surface side of frame materials 1a, 1b constituting a polygon so as to be fastened along the axial direction of the frame materials 1a, 1b, and fix the display panel 11 to the front surface side of a frame body 1 while the pressing covers 8a, 8b are fastened. The display panel fixing frame bends and folds the pressing covers 8a, 8b into a C-shaped cross-section so that both ends of the cross-sections of the pressing covers 8a, 8b are brought into contact with the peripheral surfaces of the frame materials 1a, 1b at two points. Meantime, an engagement part 12 is provided which positions the external end 12a of the cross-section in the peripheral direction when the pressing covers 8a, 8b are fastened between an external end 12a of the C-shaped cross-section and the outer periphery of the frame materials 1a, 1b, while the pressing covers 8a, 8b are fastened to the frame materials 1a, 1b from a chevron-shaped outer peripheral surface of the pressing covers 8a, 8b. |
