PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of outputting laser beams of a target wavelength, especially, a plurality of wavelengths and also to provide a laser device capable of wavelength scanning.SOLUTION: A control circuit in this laser device drives a drive circuit of a photonic crystal laser element under a predetermined condition. The wavelength width of laser beams emitted from the photonic crystal laser element depends on a normalized driving current k and a pulse width T and is discovered to have a predetermined relation. When this condition is satisfied, laser beams of a plurality of wavelengths can be controlled and outputted. |
