<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel powder which can prevent occurrence of structural defects, e.g. delamination or cracks, and is suitable for nickel internal electrodes of multilayer ceramic capacitors and low-cost and efficient surface treatment and a production method to obtain the nickel powder.SOLUTION: A nickel powder is obtained by using a metal salt compound of a triazine thiol as a triazine thiol compound, dispersing nickel particles in water to prepare an aqueous nickel slurry, mixing the aqueous nickel slurry with the metal salt compound of a triazine thiol to prepare a triazine thiol-containing aqueous nickel slurry and filtrating the triazine thiol-containing aqueous nickel slurry to obtain a nickel powder. In the production method, the pH of the aqueous nickel slurry on the preparation is adjusted to 4.5-6.5.</p> |
