<p>The present invention relates to a protection and insulation cylindrical tube for an insulation joint box of an insulation joint box of an ultra high voltage power cable and, more particularly, to a protection and insulation cylindrical tube capable of combining an insulation tube as an insulator with a protection tube to functions as the outer appearance of a connection part using a synthetic resin tube. The protection and insulation cylindrical tube for the insulation joint box of the ultra high voltage power cable according to the present invention is successively connected to a first protection tube which is made of copper, a synthetic resin insulator, and a second protection tube which is made of copper. The length of the insulator is longer than the lengths of the first protection tube and the second protection tube. The outer diameters of both ends of the insulator are equal to the maximum outer diameters of the first and second protection tubes. The insulator is formed as the protection and insulation cylindrical tube which functions as the insulation tube for the purpose of an insulation between systems of the ultra high voltage power cable and the outer appearance for an external protection of an inner insulation reinforcement material of the insulation joint box.</p> |
