<p>The invention relates to a method and device for measuring a signal amplitude in order to supply the modulus of the electrical impedance of a sample. According to the invention, the signal is sampled (step 43) at a sampling frequency lower than the Nyquist frequency. Subsequently, the samples are distributed in a histogram (step 44) and the two fullest bins of the histogram are determined (step 45) such as to calculate the amplitude of the signal (step 46). The invention provides an energy-saving bio-impedance measurement means.</p> |
