<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a secondary battery, capable of reducing contact resistance of an electrode terminal and reducing a manufacturing defect. Disclosed is a secondary battery as one embodiment, which comprises: an electrode assembly equipped with a first pole plate, a second pole plate, and a separator; a case for storing the electrode assembly and an electrolyte; and a cap assembly including a cap plate, an insulation plate, a terminal plate, and an electrode terminal for sealing the case by being coupled to an upper opening unit of the case, wherein the electrode terminal includes a first insertion unit having a first thickness on an area coupled with the terminal plate, and a second insertion unit having a second thickness smaller than the first thickness.</p> |
