Disclosed in the present invention are a digital device and a method for processing a service thereof. The digital device and a method for processing a service thereof according to the present invention comprise the following steps: displaying multiple user interface (UI) elements; identifying the UI elements having spotlighting properties among the multiple displayed UI elements; when a first UI element is selected among the multiple UI elements, focusing the selected first UI element; checking whether a first or second focus moving request signal of the UI elements is input; as the checking result, if the first focus moving request signal of the UI elements is received, calculating coordination and direction of a second UI elements located most adjacent to the currently selected first UI elements in the first direction among the UI elements having spotlighting properties; and removing focusing of the currently selected first UI element, and focusing the second UI element according to the calculated coordination and direction of the second UI elements. |
