The device (40) has two shielding units (52, 54) protecting first and second parts (56, 58) of a communication connection (46). One of the shielding units is separated and isolated from the other shielding unit. A third part (60) of the communication connection connects the first part and the second part of the communication connection. The former shielding unit is electrically connected to the latter shielding unit by a high-pass filter (70), which prevents the circulation of a direct current (DC) between the shielding units that are made of a conducting material i.e. metallic material.
