Electrical power supply system (1) for automotive vehicle, comprises a charger (44), an accumulator battery (10) and an electrical consumer which are able to receive by way of the charger (44) electrical current passing from an electrical power supply network (41) exterior to the vehicle. The power supply system (1) is supported at least in part by a conducting carcass (2) configured so as to be able to be linked to an earth tap of the exterior network (41). The system comprising a device for estimating a minimum insulation resistance (Rfilt(t)) between the terminals of the battery (10), of the electrical switch and the carcass (2). The system (1) comprises a unit (43) for launching the charging phases of the battery (10), which is configured to launch a charging of the battery (10) only if the minimum insulation resistance (Rfilt(t)) is greater than a first threshold (Rseuil_1). |
