The present invention relates to a painted article. The painted article is formed as a coating composition is coated on a molded unit formed with an injection molding thermoplastic resin composition. The injection molding thermoplastic resin composition comprises: (a) a base resin containing polyamide (a-1) and polyphenylene ether (a-2); (b) an impact reinforcing agent; and (c) a carbon fibril. The polyamide (a-1) forms a matrix phase of the injection molding thermoplastic resin composition; and the polyphenylene ether (a-2) and the impact reinforcing agent (b) form a domain phase of the injection molding thermoplastic resin composition. The carbon fibril (c) is dispersed over the domain and matrix phases; the amount of the carbon fibril dispersed over the matrix phase is higher than that of the carbon fibril dispersed over the domain phase; and a ratio of the weight of the carbon fibril (c) to the weight of the polyamide (a-1) may be in a range of 0.006 to 0.03. The injection molding thermoplastic resin composition in accordance with the present invention can be usefully applied to electrostatic coating due to having excellent impact resistance and conductivity; and make the painted article have excellent appearance due to enhanced paint adhesion as the coating composition is coated on the injection molding thermoplastic resin composition with a uniform thickness.
