The present invention relates to a motor operated water pump comprising: a motor module rotated by power applied from the outside; a pump module to pressurize an inputted fluid by a rotational power while the pump module is coupled with the motor module; and a housing to couple the motor module with the pump module to be rotatable. The driving gear is coupled with the motor module to be rotated. The materials of the driving gear and a driven gear have stainless steel or engineering plastic; and the motor operated water pump to collect the exhaust heat enhances durability, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, pump efficiency, and maintains tightness in a stator side of a motor.
