Disclosed is a device for estimating a three-dimensional shape of an object and a method thereof. The device for estimating a three-dimensional shape of an object of the present invention comprises: a projector for projecting structured light onto an object wherein a predetermined pattern is added to the structured light; first and second sensors for sensing the structured light; and a control unit for estimating a three-dimensional depth of an object according to a change of the structured light sensed by the first sensor and compensating for the three-dimensional depth measured according to a change of the structured light sensed by the second sensor. According to the present invention, depth resolution is increased by using a multi-baseline in measuring a three-dimensional depth of an object.
