PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on an image processing system or a network.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing system that has a detection device and an image processing apparatus, where the detection device performs detection to detect a user, and the image processing apparatus creates position information indicating a positional relationship between the user and the image processing apparatus on the basis of a result of the detection by the detection means, determines if the user is approaching the image processing apparatus on the basis of the position information, and performs image processing on the basis of the determination. |
