The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring wear of a railroad rail using an interference pattern, which measures the degree of wear of a railroad rail by measuring a surface of an optical rail by using a driving condition based on driving of a train, the apparatus comprising: a light source unit which irradiates detection light to obtain continuous reflected light as an interference pattern according to driving of a train by irradiating line light vertically to a longitudinal direction of a rail along the railroad rail; a camera which acquires the interference pattern generated as line light irradiated by the light source changes into the continuous reflected light when the train moves; and a control unit which includes a calculation module analyzing the interference pattern acquired by the camera through an interference algorithm to mathematically model the degree of wear (the degree of depth) of a surface of a railroad rail, wherein the camera receives train speed information through a train speed information providing module which provides driving speed information of a train, acquires an interference pattern through a pulse control according to the train speed information, continuously couples the interference pattern, and calculates a final interference pattern, to measure wear information of the railroad rail. |
