The present invention relates to a device for protecting a sight of an armored fighting vehicle to efficiently protect a sight from shot bullets, fragments, foreign materials, and the like by opening or closing the sight according to whether to use the sight of the armored fighting vehicle. The device for protecting a sight of an armored fighting vehicle comprises a frame wherein the frame is fixed to surround a frontal side of the sight of the armored fighting vehicle and an opening surface is formed on the frontal side of the sight; a protective cover for rotatively opening or closing the opening surface of the frame while the protective cover is rotatively installed on one side of the frame; a rotary transfer shaft which is rotationally installed in the frame, wherein one side of the rotary transfer shaft is axially coupled to a rotary shaft and rotates together, and a pinion gear is coupled to the other side of the rotary transfer shaft; a slider installed to be movable forwardly and backwardly in the frame, wherein a rack gear is formed on an external circumference of one side of the slider to be engaged with the pinion gear of the rotary transfer shaft and the slider rotates the rotary transfer shaft according to forward and backward movement; and an actuator fixed to the frame and coupled to the other side of the slider to move the slider forwardly and backwardly. |
