Provided is an ultrasonic diagnostic device in which blood flow rate information obtained by a color Doppler method is used to estimate a three-dimensional effect of blood flow, and with which diagnostic information reflecting the three-dimensional effect can be presented. This ultrasonic image pickup device is provided with an ultrasonic probe that sends ultrasonic waves to an object to be inspected and receives echo signals reflected from the object to be inspected, and a signal processing unit that processes the echo signals received by the ultrasonic probe. The signal processing unit estimates, on the basis of the echo signals, a three-dimensional effect for the blood flow rate from the difference between the blood flow rate estimated by a first method and the blood flow rate estimated by a second method that differs from the first method, and reflects the three-dimensional effect to generate diagnostic information. |
