PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-way valve which inhibits deterioration of sealability caused by rotational sliding of a valve body and reduces the costs, and to provide a storage type water heater. ! SOLUTION: A multi-way valve (a four-way valve 200) includes: a body 210 having a valve chamber 232; a valve body 230 which is provided so as to rotate in the valve chamber 232; a seal material (a sheet packing 226) provided between the valve body 230 and a port (a second port 203); and a protruding part 231 which contacts with a peripheral surface of the valve body 230 and supports the valve body 230.
