<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of proper calibration in detecting an operation position by combining devices different in a method of detecting an operation position.SOLUTION: A projector 10 includes a light emission device 60 that emits detection light along a screen SC, a position detection unit 50 that detects an indication position, and a calibration control unit 39. The position detection unit 50 performs a first detection operation of detecting an indication position by using detection light, and a second detection operation of detecting an indication position by using light other than the detection light. The calibration control unit 39 executes calibration to associate the position of an indicator 70 detected by the second detection operation with a position on the screen SC, and limits the emission of the detection light during the execution of the calibration.</p> |
