PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device capable of erasing unnecessary data without performing vacuum processing. ! SOLUTION: A storage device of an embodiment is provided with a controller including data update means, registration means, table update means, and erasure means. The data update means writes second data at a second physical address if a data update request for updating first data to the second data is input. The registration means registers a specified logical address and a first physical address in a logical-physical conversion table which corresponds to the logical address in an update history list so as to associate them with each other. The table update means updates the first physical address in the logical-physical conversion table to the second physical address.
