<p>SLIDABLE CHOKE MICROWAVE ANTENNA A microwave antenna assembly (12) is provided. The assembly (12) comprises a feedline (20) including an inner conductor (50), an outer conductor (56) and an inner insulator (52) disposed therebetween; a radiating portion (18) including a dipole antenna (40) coupled to the feedline (20) and a trocar (25) coupled to the dipole antenna (40) at a distal end thereof; an inner fluid feed (106) disposed around the outer conductor (56) in electro-mechanical contact therewith, the inner fluid feed member (106) having a plurality of fluid lumens defined therein configured to supply a fluid (35) to the radiating portion (18); and an outer fluid feed member (108) disposed around the inner fluid feed member (106) in electro-mechanical contact therewith, the outer fluid feed member (108) having a plurality of fluid lumens (111) defined therein configured to withdraw the fluid (35) from the radiating portion (18).</p> |
