PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle drive device which can suppress deterioration of drivability.SOLUTION: When hybrid travel modes "HV1", "HV2" are changed into EV travel mode "EV1" or "EV2", if a power storage amount of a battery is less than a normal threshold α or a required driving force is less than a normal threshold &bgr;, a travel mode changing part 60 establishes the EV travel mode "EV1", and if the power storage amount of the battery is more than the normal threshold α and the required driving force is more than the normal threshold &bgr;, the travel mode changing part 60 establishes the EV travel mode "EV2", whereby full power storage amount of the battery can be achieved. If the required driving force is large, the EV travel mode "EV2" is previously established, whereby deterioration of drivability due to change of the travel mode during acceleration and so on can be suitably suppressed. |
