PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protection airbag device in which an airbag can be folded in a compact manner and deployment at an expansion initial stage can be controlled.SOLUTION: An airbag 19 includes: a conduit pipe part 21 arranged on an upper edge side at expansion completion time; and an expansion shield part 24 expanding by allowing a gas for expansion to flow in from the conduit pipe part 21 side. The airbag 19 is folded in such a manner that a folded overlapping part 39 is formed by forming a crease substantially along a front-and-back direction in a portion of the conduit pipe part 21, and a lower edge of a portion of the expansion shield part 24 is rolled toward a vehicle outer side to form a roll folding portion 44. A folding completion body 46 which is formed by folding the airbag 19 is configured in such a manner that the folded overlapping part 39 is made to enter inside the roll folding portion 44 from above so as to divide the roll folding portion 44 into the vehicle outer side and a vehicle inner side, and three directions of the vehicle inner side, the vehicle outer side and a lower side excluding the upper side of the folded overlapping part 39 are covered by the roll folding portion 44. |
