<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of printing different printed matters at high speed.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a paper feed device 11 supplying a web W from rolled paper R; a printing machine 12 capable of continuously printing different images on the web W; a folding machine 14 forming a signature F by longitudinally cutting the printed web W, building up the cut sheets W, longitudinally folding the sheets W, and transversely cutting the sheets W; and a print controller 111 capable of changing a length of the signature F by regulating a rotational speed of a cutting cylinder 36 in response to print information on a printed matter to be printed.</p> |
