A water purification device which can take contaminated water, and upgrade it via a sterilization process. This is achieved without the use of chemicals or membranes. The device consists of a tubular arrangement for contacting ozone gas and ultraviolet (UV) light with said contaminated water in order to sterilize it. The tubular configuration of contacting the ozone and UV with the water, combined with an ozone injection system delivers optimum sterilization of the water in an energy- efficient manner. |
