The invention concerns a road motor vehicle (2) comprising a shock absorber (12) and a moving device (40) which can automatically move the shock absorber (12) between an active position and a retracted position; the moving device (40) comprising: a movable stop (42) which can come to bear against a bearing face disposed on another vehicle, from a deployed position, towards a retracted position, in which the stop (42) is sunk further towards the interior of the vehicle than in the deployed position; and, between the stop (42) and the shock absorber (12), a mechanical connection (45) which can convert the movement of the stop (42) into a corresponding movement of the shock absorber (12) from its active position to its retracted position as the stop sinks into its retracted position. |
