PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply system which has a simple device structure and yet enables an ink pressure in a nozzle position to be easily grasped and controlled without checking and adjustment performed in advance. ! SOLUTION: An ink supply system supplies an ink 5 from a sub tank 3 to an ink jet head 1 including a nozzle 41 and a pressure chamber 48 through an ink circulation passage 2 in a circulation manner. A pressure sensor 21 and a pressure sensor 22 are respectively disposed at the upstream side and the downstream side of the ink jet head 1. Passage resistance R1 between the pressure sensor 21 and the ink jet head 1 is set equal to passage resistance R2 between the ink jet head 1 and the pressure sensor 22 (R1=R2). A controller 10 calculates an ink pressure in a position of the nozzle 41 on the basis of detection values of the pressure sensors 21, 22 and controls a pressure in the sub tank 3 so that the pressure becomes a predetermined value. !
