PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monkey wrench having strong structure.SOLUTION: A monkey wrench having strong structure comprises a body and a movable jaw. The body has a fixed jaw, a sliding groove, and a communication passage. On both sides of the communication passage of the body, a side wall is formed, respectively, and the side wall has an inner wall surface and a first energizing surface. A first included angle is formed between the inner wall surface and the first energizing surface, the angle of the first included angle being between 50° and 90° . The movable jaw provided in the body comprises a holding portion, a sliding portion and a neck portion. The sliding portion is provided in the sliding groove and the neck portion is provided in the communication passage, wherein on the one side approaching to the neck portion of the holding portion two second energizing surfaces are formed, the second energizing surfaces abutting on the first energizing surface. When the monkey wrench is subjected to reaction force from a workpiece, because the movable jaw tenses the side walls of the body, the movable jaw can avoid sliding relative to the body in a course of swinging operation of the monkey wrench. |
