PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure coating device equipped with a chamber which is free of a risk of mixing of metal dust with a coating liquid even if a protection layer wears, and enables the degree of wear of the protection layer to be easily detected with the eye.SOLUTION: A gravure coating device includes a first protection layer 32 and a second protection layer 30 in order from outside to inside a chamber. The first coating layer 32 is a thermal spray film made of a thermal spray material having a hardness of 500 HV or larger measured through a Vickers hardness test (JISZ2244) and a specific volume resistance of 10&OHgr; cm or larger, and the first protection layer 32 had a lightness of 9.0 or larger of Munsell color system based upon JISZ8721. The second coating layer 30 is a thermal spray film made of a thermal spray material having a hardness of 500 HV or larger measured through a Vickers hardness test and a specific volume resistance of 10&OHgr; cm or larger, and the difference in lightness of Munsell color system between the second protection layer and first protection layer is 1.0 or larger. |
