PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbial fuel battery of which the power generation efficiency per unit volume is improved.SOLUTION: A microbial fuel battery 10 comprises: a hollow electrode 30 shaped in a hollow cylindrical form having a cavity part 42 therein, having an air inlet 41 formed at one end of the cavity part 42, and immersed in an organic waste water 11; and an air supplying part 100 for supplying atmospheric air into the cavity part 42. The hollow electrode 30 includes: a cathode 50 shaped in a cylindrical form; an electrically insulative body 60 formed on the outer periphery of the cathode 50; and an anode 70 formed on the outer periphery of the electrically insulative body 60. |
