PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonlinear distortion detection apparatus and distortion compensation power amplifier, capable of simplifying calculation for obtaining a distortion coefficient indicating a nonlinear characteristic of a power amplifier.SOLUTION: A nonlinear distortion detection apparatus 1, detecting a nonlinear distortion generated at a power amplifier 11, includes: a test signal generation section 10 that generates a test signal and outputs the signal to the power amplifier 11; a Fourier transformation section 12 that transforms an output signal of the power amplifier 11 into a signal of a frequency region; and a distortion coefficient calculation section 13 that calculates a distortion coefficient of the power amplifier 11 on the basis of amplitude information and phase information obtained from the Fourier transformation section 12. |
