PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a toner with which a toner achieving both excellent mechanical stress resistance and heat resistance can be manufactured.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a toner includes: a first step of putting toner cores and shell materials including a monomer or prepolymer of a thermosetting resin into a liquid; a second step of maintaining the temperature of the liquid equal to or lower than the glass transition point of the toner cores and causing the shell materials to be adhered to the surface of the toner cores; and a third step of curing the shell materials adhered to the surface of the toner cores.
